Dyspraxia Scotland are an additional support needs company based in Dundee. Providing 1-1 learning support, we visit schools, colleges, universities and employers to assess and diagnose Dyspraxia in both children and adults. Our vision is to provide specialist support to the people of Scotland from all walks of life, living with Dyspraxia.


Having won two Scottish Government contracts, we are looking to continue our success and recruit an experienced Occupational Therapist on a part-time, employed basis.


This is a hugely rewarding role offers a greater work-life balance than traditional OT roles, where you will play a leading part in the growth of the business with potential Team Leader opportunities in the future.


The ideal candidate will live within the Perthshire area, hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle, you must be able to work with both children and adults and hold a valid DBS check.


To be considered for this role, you MUST hold either a HCPC or RCOT registration.


Job Type / Category

20 hours per month, can be flexible.

Job Duties:

  • Undertake patient assessments of physical, communication, interaction and cognitive skills
  • Providing advice and arranging support for family members, carers and clients
  • Establishing treatment goals
  • Liaising with doctors, family members, carers and other professionals and keeping them updated
  • Providing accurate, timely documentation of treatment
  • Reviewing progress and planning further treatment
